National Green Building Advocacy

On March 11, 2022, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development released the "14th Five-Year Plan for the Development of Building Energy Efficiency and Green Buildings". By 2025, the goal is to fully implement green building standards for new buildings in urban areas, complete energy-saving renovation of existing buildings with over 350 million sqm, build over 50 million sqm of ultra-low energy and near-zero energy buildings, and reach 30% of new buildings in urban areas with prefabricated buildings.

Prefabricated buildings (PBs) consist of factory-made components or units that are transported and assembled on-site to form the complete building. They are recognized as an effective solution to reduce emissions and the best choice for the transformation and upgrading of the construction industry.

Reductions in cost and time are the major advantages offered by prefabricated building systems when compared to conventional construction methods. Other benefits include improved quality and accuracy in manufacture, on-site installation speed, and can be dismantled and reused. This form of prefabricated buildings also provides environmental benefits, such as the reduction of construction waste and CO2 emissions, and less disturbance to the building site’s neighbors by minimizing on-site noise and dust.

2.4MW Solar Project

The solar power plant was installed at the industrial base of a company specializing in the development of prefabricated buildings technology in Guangdong, China, taking full advantage of the sunshine resources on the rooftop to implement the government's call for energy saving and green building development.

The project employed 16 sets of INVTSolar's XG136KTR-X three-phase on-grid inverters with 12 MPP trackers specifically designed for commercial and industrial PV projects, which were successfully connected to the grid on September 14, 2022. It has been running efficiently and stably for over a month now and is actively contributing to the zero-carbon business through energy saving and emission reduction each year.
